Rahu – illusion and desires

Rahu, in astronomy, is the point where the path of sun and moon intersects. But in mythology, in the scenario of Samudra Manthan, during which demon Swarbhanu tried to disguise as a Devata and sits in the row of devtas to drink nectar, but recognised by The Sun and the Moon and on their information Shri Vishnu beheaded the demon Swarbhanu, then his head became Rahu.

This quality of rahu dragged us to the conclusion that he is a master of illusion and disguise but only an enlightened soul or a stable mind can overcome it. 

Rahu can trouble you if your sun and moon are weak. It will make you run towards your deep desires in illusion until the last breath, being malefic it generally gives bad results. 

Let us see some examples: if rahu sits in the first house and is not good, it will bring chaos and make you desirous, whereas if it works well, will make you focused and ambitious. 

In the 3rd house, under no beneficial aspect it can make you outcourageous and misunderstand communication. Whereas a good rahu can understand the hidden intentions in speech and makes a smart problem solver.

In 6th house, debts and fights appear due to misunderstandings and needless desires, whereas good rahu can make you win fights by understanding illusions and also by creating them.

In 7th house, rahu brings relationships which are traps of illusion, but a good rahu can clearly understand the difference between desires and need and also if it’s a trap.

In 8th house, rahu generally feels native environment and gives you occult knowledge but if melific can give you unseen problems.

In the 10th house of career and profession it can make you crazy for position and power which later turns out to be a trap, but if good can make you smart enough to get to the position without being much noticed. 

11th house rahu if not aspected by benefics gives misunderstandings in large groups or friends but if it’s working good you can be the one to make large groups.
